HOW IT WORKS
Hire-A-Teen is a job referral service for youth (12 - 17 years of age). Payment for the job is decided upon between the employer and teen. Minimum wage is suggested as a guideline. Work arrangements should be made prior to the workday, with all the tools and materials provided by the employer/homeowner.
The employer is responsible for ensuring a safe and adequately supervised work situation. Homeowner’s liability is recommended. The youth and his/her parents are responsible for all damages and losses caused by the youth.
