The Board of Finance held a special meeting at 808 Stonington Road, Stonington, CT. Members present were Glenn Frishman, Chairman; Bryan Bentz; Dudley Wheeler; Andrew Rines, Secretary and Kevin Burns.
Mr. Frishman called the meeting to order 7:30 p.m.
Previous Minutes
Mr. Rines made a motion to approve the minutes of the September meeting as presented. Mr. Wheeler seconded the motion and voting was unanimous.
John O’Brien arrived at 7:33 pm.
Police Grant
Discussion among members with a favorable consensus in support of canine (K9) unit. The Deputy Chief will proceed with negotiations with Police Union.
Director of Finance
Nothing to report.
Correspondence
Letter from Town of Groton RTM regarding funding of Mystic & Noank Library.
Letter from Chief of Police regarding DWI grant application for FY2007-2008.
Subcommittee Reports
Mr. O’Brien.
There being no further business to come before the Board, Dudley Wheeler made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Kevin Burns. Motion passed unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 8:14pm.
